  • Immigration status, visa category, and USCIS case numbers
  • Alien Registration Number (A-Number), if applicable
  • Passport and travel document information
  • Employment history and employer information
  • Spouse and family member information relevant to your form
  • Supporting documents you upload (photos, identification, court records, etc.)
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit statusready.co, we may automatically collect:

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and links clicked
  • Referring website or source

This information is used for website analytics and service improvement only. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain records of all communications between you and StatusReady, including messages sent through our client portal, email, and any chat or messaging tools we use to deliver your service.

  • To generate a personalized document checklist and communicate your case status
  • To process payment through Stripe
  • To send you status updates, reminders, and your completed form package via email

  • To improve our services and prevent fraud

We do not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We do not build advertising profiles from your data.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

StatusReady does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Ever.

4.3 Legal Requirements

5. Immigration Data — Special Handling

We understand that immigration data is among the most sensitive personal information that exists. We treat all immigration-related information — including A-Numbers, visa history, court records, and case details — with the highest level of care.

  • We do not share immigration data with any government agency except as required by a valid legal process
  • We do not share immigration data with ICE, DHS, or any enforcement agency voluntarily
  • We do not use your immigration data for advertising, research, or any purpose outside of completing your form
  • All staff and AI systems with access to immigration data are subject to strict confidentiality obligations

Your immigration data is used solely to prepare your USCIS form(s) and deliver them to you.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Our security practices include:

  • All data transmitted to and from statusready.co is encrypted via SSL/TLS
  • Client documents and data are stored in access-controlled cloud environments
  • Access to client data is limited to StatusReady’s CEO and authorized automated systems
  • Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you promptly as required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for the following periods:

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us at hello@statusready.co and we will promptly delete it.

Note: If your USCIS form requires information about your minor children as part of the application (for example, dependents listed on an I-485), that information is collected as part of your case and is handled under the same protections described in this Policy.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience and analyze website traffic. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using our services but may affect some website functionality.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not participate in behavioral advertising networks.

11. International Clients

StatusReady LLC is based in the United States and our services are governed by U.S. law. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

By using our services, you consent to this transfer. We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:
