By accessing or using statusready.co (the “Website”) or any services offered by StatusReady LLC (“StatusReady,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“you,” “your,” or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Website or our services. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Website, including those who purchase services. Continued use of the Website after any modification of these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
StatusReady is a non-attorney document preparation service. We help Clients complete USCIS forms based on information the Client provides. Our services include:

These fees cover document preparation services only and do not include USCIS filing fees, which are paid directly to USCIS by the Client. USCIS fees are subject to change — verify current amounts at uscis.gov.
Payment is due before work begins: in full for the I-751, or as the first of two equal installments for the Marriage Green Card Kit (the remaining installment is due before final delivery of the completed forms). We accept major credit and debit cards through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize the transaction and agree to these Terms and the Client Service Agreement.
The founding-client rates above apply to StatusReady’s first 25 clients across all services and end automatically thereafter. The fee in effect at the time of payment is honored for that engagement.
StatusReady will use reasonable efforts to deliver completed forms within the following timeframes after receipt of payment (in full, or the first installment for the Marriage Green Card Kit) AND all required Client information and documentation, including any required certified English translations of foreign-language documents:
Delivery timeframes begin only after both payment and all required information have been received. Delays caused by missing or incomplete Client submissions, illegible documents, or missing translations will pause the delivery clock and extend the delivery timeframe accordingly. Such delays do not constitute a failure to deliver by StatusReady.
Completed forms are delivered as digital files through StatusReady’s secure client portal. The Client is responsible for printing, signing, assembling, and mailing the completed application to USCIS.

StatusReady reserves the right to terminate services at any time and for any of the reasons described in Section 13 of the Client Service Agreement, including but not limited to abusive client behavior, suspected fraud, refusal to consult with a licensed attorney after a mandatory referral, prolonged non-response, or demands outside the scope of services. Upon termination, refund eligibility is governed by the Client Service Agreement.
Clients may terminate services at any time by submitting a written request to hello@statusready.co. Refund eligibility for client-initiated termination is governed by the Client Service Agreement.
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and use your personal information solely to provide the requested services. We do not sell, share, or rent your information. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy at statusready.co/privacy.
The Website and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by StatusReady LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Website without our prior written permission.
THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. STATUSREADY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY USCIS APPLICATION WILL BE APPROVED.
STATUSREADY MAKES NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE REGARDING THE OUTCOME OF ANY USCIS APPLICATION. ALL DECISIONS ON IMMIGRATION APPLICATIONS ARE MADE SOLELY BY USCIS AND ARE OUTSIDE OF STATUSREADY’S CONTROL.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATUSREADY’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF STATUSREADY SERVICE FEES PAID BY YOU. STATUSREADY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED USCIS DEADLINES OR LAPSED IMMIGRATION STATUS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StatusReady LLC, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Mobile County, Alabama, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party retains the right to bring an individual claim in small claims court.
StatusReady reserves the right to modify these Terms. For material changes, we will update the version number and effective date, post the updated Terms to the Website, and notify active Clients by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material changes (such as clarifications, formatting, or typo corrections) take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Website or services after a change’s effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will not retroactively apply material changes to services you have already purchased without your consent.
